Never stop exploring.
The catch phrase for The North Face really speaks to my heart. For the last five years we've been hoping to buy another boat for exploring the Chesapeake Bay. I'm always trying to live to the "make do with what you have" mantra, but it's so hard when there are shiny, roomy boats out there and what I have is a shiny, 11' long Sea Doo. The PWC is fun, but it lacks comfort and sleeping accommodations. On top of that, I can't be on the water after dark. Despite all the obvious setbacks cruising the Chesapeake Bay on a PWC offers, it's what I have. So I'm going to make do with it.

This year, I am encouraging more people to get out on the Bay. I'm going to show the world that you don't need to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a boat to enjoy weekend long, or even week long, trips around the Chesapeake Bay. Over the course of the 2020 boating season, we are going to complete two HUGE trips to prove you can explore the Chesapeake Bay in its entirety from the discomfort of something as small and affordable as a PWC. If it can be done on a PWC, it can be done on almost anything.

Trip 1. We will complete the new Great Chesapeake Bay Loop by PWC.

Trip 2. Cap to Cap by PWC. We will ride the Sea Doo from the Maryland state capitol to the Virginia state capitol; Annapolis to Richmond.

See our blog posts in the Logbook for more information on these adventures.
